The Vendée's first 100% pedestrian, Clef Verte-certified campsite, La Forêt sits at 190 chemin de la Rive in Saint-Jean-de-Monts, with direct beach access via a 400-metre path and right next to the Pays de Monts state forest. This four-star site has just 40 pitches, made up of 16 mobile homes and 26 custom-built villas made in France, including SPA villas, Lounge villas and premium mobile homes. The ecologically designed park has around 1,700 planted trees. The outdoor pool heated to 28°C (May-September), the jacuzzi, the wellness area, the sauna, the hammam and a fitness room (new for 2026) complement a boules court, table tennis and free fibre WiFi, in a green setting with no noisy entertainment, giving access to the hidden beaches of Pont d’Yeu, Mûrier and Tonnelles.
