The Le Poséidon restaurant serves a menu made with fresh produce from the Île de Ré, indoors or on the palm-lined terrace. Homemade ice cream, takeaway dishes, and a snack bar with billiards and table football round out the dining offer at Camping de l’Île Blanche in La Flotte-en-Ré. A bread and pastry drop-off point operates during school holidays, with orders placed the day before.
On the practical side: Wi-Fi is available free of charge across the whole campsite, the reception area and the terrace. A self-service launderette (coin-operated washers and dryers), bike rental and barbecue/plancha rental make everyday life easier. A self-service library, billiards and table football are also available at the snack bar. Produce served favours short supply chains with Île de Ré producers.

Camping de l’Île Blanche nurtures a rare natural setting in La Flotte-en-Ré: 4 hectares of wooded parkland between maritime pines and holm oaks, where accommodation is deliberately separated by dense vegetation to preserve the tranquillity of the site. Management chose a rental-only estate (24 m² mobile home and Grand Confort cottages Glenans, Maldives and Florès from 31 to 35 m²) rather than multiplying bare pitches, in order to minimise the landscape impact on the protected site of the Île de Ré.

Activities and surroundings at Camping de l’Île Blanche
At the campsite, family entertainment runs throughout the season with the kids’ club, aquagym and aquabiking sessions, pétanque, table tennis, mini-golf and tennis tournaments. The children’s play area has a slide, a climbing wall and net, plus inflatable structures. Shows and themed evenings liven up summer nights.
In the surrounding area, the Île de Ré is a cycling destination: over 110 km of cycle paths set off from the campsite towards the protected villages of Saint-Martin-de-Ré (1.5 km), Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré (2.5 km), Ars-en-Ré, Loix, or La Flotte-en-Ré with its old harbour. The salt marshes, the Phare des Baleines lighthouse, Fort Boyard by boat, as well as the beaches of the Charente-Maritime are all excursions you can organise from your cottage. La Flotte-en-Ré, 1.5 km away, is listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France. Hiking trails around the salt marshes and the Lilleau des Niges nature reserve (LPO) round out the bike rides.
