A calm “haven of peace” with no entertainment, surrounded by centuries-old trees: Ker Eden campsite sits in the protected nature of the Gulf of Morbihan Nature Park, 800 metres from the town of Larmor-Baden, Morbihan, with direct beach access and views over the gulf. This 3-star, 110-pitch site, around 20 of them rentals, offers pods, unusual Coco Sweet tents, tent lodges and cottages named Sinago, Yole, Forban and Goélette, plus a 3-bedroom Caravelle and a wheelchair-accessible cottage. A heated outdoor pool, trampolines, a multisport pitch, table tennis, a shop, fresh bread and paddleboard hire equip the site. Labelled “Étape Rando Bretagne” and European Ecolabel, the campsite offers 24-hour phone reception. Open from 7 May to 20 September.
