Camping La Dune Bleue

No cars here: La Dune Bleue campsite chose a fully pedestrian site, at the heart of the Domaine de Bombannes in Carcans-Maubuisson, Gironde, between Lake Maubuisson and the Atlantic Ocean. Even WiFi is limited to the reception area, leaving room for “the scent of the forest, the softness of the pines, the song of birds and cicadas”. An on-site UCPA sports school offers surfing, sailing, paddleboarding and wakeboarding, just 300 metres from water sports on the lake. The campsite has around fifteen types of accommodation, from canvas-and-wood lodges of 17 to 35 m² to premium cottages of 25 to 34 m², including a wheelchair-accessible model. A pool, lake beach, neighbouring aquapark, food trucks and creative workshops for children round out an offer designed for unplugging, open from 10 April to 13 September.
