Camping La Fontaine du Hallate

No pool, no WiFi outside the sanitary blocks, no television: La Fontaine du Hallate campsite has made a radical choice for unplugging since 1993, on its 3-hectare grounds described as “a zen garden”, in the heart of the Gulf of Morbihan Nature Park, in Plougoumelen. No loud entertainment, non-smoking pitches: this 2-star site, labelled European Ecolabel, Gîtes de France, Morbihan Tourisme Responsable and Home Vélos, offers mobile homes for 2 and 4 people, chalets, Ty Kalon gîtes, Lapland kotas, a kabane and Mongolian yurts, plus shepherd's-hut-style pods and a welcome for vans and kayaks. In July-August, a baker sets up on site and catering favours local produce within a 10 km radius. The Ker Kalon space offers reflexology, ayurvedic massage, kinesiology and nutrition coaching. Open from 1 April to end of October.
