Family-run since 1995, La Prairie sits at 146 rue du Moulin Cassé in Saint-Jean-de-Monts, ‘between forest and ocean’, 800 metres from the sandy beaches. This four-star site has 119 units: 51 rental mobile homes, 27 pitches and 41 permanent residents, with fully equipped rentals and traditional pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, including new Premium plots with individual sanitary facilities and a kitchen. The heated indoor pool with spa and children's play area is open year-round from April, complemented by an outdoor pool heated from May with a slide and paddling pool. Bike rental, a snack bar and modernised sanitary facilities are joined in July-August by daily entertainment: a kids' club, sports tournaments, aquagym and themed evenings. Awarded the Clef Verte label for over fifteen years, open from 1 April to 30 September, in the Vendée.
