Run by Céline and Arnaud, the family is at the helm of camping Le Rey, a nature experience right in the heart of the Ossau valley, in Louvie-Juzon, at the foot of the Pyrenees and on the edge of the national park. This three-star site with 53 pitches on 5 hectares lies ten minutes from Laruns and twenty-five minutes from the Gourette and Artouste ski resorts. The heated pool and paddling pool open from 1 July, complemented by a snack bar, a playground with a cabin and a spring horse, two table tennis tables and two boules courts. Accommodation combines a POD cabin, a shepherd’s hut, the Moréa chalet and the Maori canvas tent with four- or six-person mobile homes, while hiking, mountain biking, fishing in a natural lake and cycling shape this stay on a human scale, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques.
