Founded in 1967 and still run today by the same family led by Pascal Saurais, Le Royannais campsite carries on a warm spirit inherited from its origins in Le Verdon-sur-Mer, Gironde. This 3-star, 160-pitch site nurtures a “slow tourism” philosophy between pines and the Atlantic, favouring simplicity and authenticity over large water parks. Thirteen types of mobile home are offered from €302/week, alongside wooden chalets and unusual stays: a stilted tipi, a Coco Sweet tent, a Trigano canvas bungalow. A heated pool, slide, jacuzzi and paddling pool equip the site, complemented by a snack bar and an organic grocery shop. A partner surf school and a firm eco-friendly approach, backed by organic and local produce, round out the offer.
