At the heart of the Pays d'Auge, in Le Brévedent, in the Calvados, Castel Camping du Brévedent occupies a historic wooded park with a Louis XVI-era hunting lodge beside a pond. This 4-star campsite combines tourist accommodation with an eco-friendly approach, surrounded by a biodiversity-rich forest of century-old beech trees. A heated pool, restaurant, bar, grocery shop and play areas complete a range of accommodation: mobile homes, standard and premium pitches, canvas chalets, luxury cottages and glamping tents. The site stands out for its experimental permaculture project (the Brév'maculture), participatory acoustic concerts and local art exhibitions. Close to the Normandy beaches and Mont-Saint-Michel.
