About the campsite
Just a five-minute walk from the centre of Rochefort, in Charente-Maritime, and 2 km from the spa baths renowned for their therapeutic properties, the Le Rayonnement municipal campsite occupies a site with a unique history: one of five former drying trenches used for shipbuilding timber in the 18th and 19th centuries. This 3-star campsite offers 120 pitches across 2.5 hectares, including 24 mobile homes, in a green and peaceful setting. Barbecue areas, a playground, pétanque, table football and free wifi complete the offering. The first municipal site in France to receive the European Ecolabel, back in 2010, it also holds the Qualité Tourisme, Home Vélo and Clef Verte labels, a mark of lasting environmental commitment.
