Camping L’Oasis du Verdon is one of the few campsites in the Verdon Regional Nature Park to hold the Valeur Parc label, a mark of genuine commitment to preserving the area. Set on a 3-hectare estate planted with local species — mulberry-leaved plane trees, weeping willows, maples and poplars — the campsite in Aups offers a remarkably rich natural setting, at the crossroads of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and the Mediterranean.
Anne and Philippe, who have run the establishment since 2016, have built a hospitality philosophy focused on the essentials: respect for nature, support for local producers (olive oil, Provence wines), and educating holidaymakers about the biodiversity of the Verdon.

On arrival, guests are offered a handcrafted peach-passionfruit iced tea made in Provence — a simple gesture that showcases local producers. Reception, set up like a tourist office, gathers brochures, PNR maps and personalised recommendations for exploring the Verdon responsibly.
The small organic local grocery shop (new for 2026) offers the essentials via short supply chains. The Les Terrasses restaurant, open every evening (except Wednesday), serves handmade pizzas, local dishes and regional produce (Provençal cold cuts, Var cheeses). The offering is rounded out by a professional washing machine, an accessible bathroom, and immaculate communal sanitary facilities.

Its 3-hectare estate is home to varied, preserved vegetation: laurel and eleagnus hedges, rows of century-old mulberry plane trees, and pine and poplar groves that provide natural shade and coolness. No intensive watering, no uniform lawns — just the nature of the Haut-Var in all its authenticity.
The proximity of the village of Aups (5 minutes on foot) gives access to an organic market, local produce and Provençal craftspeople. The great hiking routes of the Verdon Regional Nature Park, the Gorges and Lake Sainte-Croix are accessible by bike or car, offering a complete discovery of this exceptional Mediterranean ecosystem.

The Verdon Regional Nature Park is one of the richest nature parks in France: lavender, downy oaks, Bonelli’s eagles, Verdon otters… Camping L’Oasis du Verdon gives every holidaymaker a detailed map of the park for organising hikes, wildlife watching and bike rides independently. The map of the Conservatoire du Littoral trails and the shores of Lake Sainte-Croix is available at reception.
On site, the Molly Club entertainment for children combines outdoor games, themed treasure hunts and water activities. The weekly pétanque tournament (Tuesday evening) and friendly evenings encourage guests to mingle. Nearby: whitewater rafting in the Gorges, canyoning, kayaking and paddleboarding on the Verdon — activities that let you discover this exceptional ecosystem actively and respectfully.
