For a true immersion in a green and ecological world, you’ll need to leave your car behind before entering Camping Slow Village Ile de Ré. It is indeed car-free. Adorned with various fruit trees, you’ll breathe nothing but the pure sea air of the Charente region here.

And since the white island is known for its oysters and oyster farming, to immerse you in the island atmosphere, the accommodations on offer are inspired by the style of oyster farmers’ huts. You’ll find renovated, well-shaded lodgings. With a surface area ranging from 25 to 55 m², they can accommodate groups of friends and families of 4 to 6 people. Some are mezzanine-style, others are single-storey. Within these two ranges, there are classic and comfort sub-categories. There are also 4 rental units accessible to visitors with reduced mobility.

Activities in the heart of nature

Among the activities offered to children at the campsite, there is a playground and the Slow Club, suitable from age 3. It’s worth noting that all Slow Village workshops aim to raise awareness among holidaymakers of all ages about protecting nature.

Older visitors will enjoy playing padel and tennis, yoga and beach volleyball. There is also a table tennis table and a boules court where you can play molkky, palet or pétanque. A bike rental service is also available.
