“Dihan” means “the pause” in Breton: that is the name of this 25-hectare estate of protected woods and meadows, car-free, a French pioneer of treetop cabins for nearly 20 years, in Ploemel, Morbihan, between the Gulf of Morbihan and the Ria d'Étel, near the Carnac megaliths and the Quiberon cliffs. Set in a renovated former family farmhouse, Dihan Évasion offers treetop cabins, Lov'Nid, Spa Luxe cabins, ecolodges, star-gazing domes and on-water spa cabins, with private spas in some accommodations. A larch-wood pool and swimming basin, a locavore café, a guest lounge with a stove and piano, a billiard room, a permaculture garden and a Slow discovery trail make up an offer designed for romantic, family or friend getaways.
