Overview

In the heart of the Petite Camargue, within the regional nature park, Mas de Mourgues campsite sits where rice paddies, Camargue horses and bulls share the land with migratory birds. Located in Gallician near Vauvert in the Gard, this 3-star site is open from 1 April to 15 October and lies less than 35 km from Nîmes, Arles or Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. The solar-powered heated pool is now complemented by a water play area for children. The rental fleet includes 27 mobile homes for 4 to 7 people, along with cabins and unusual stays such as Cocoon tents and Safari lodges. On site, a snack bar, small shop, bike hire and kids' club shape a stay centred on Mediterranean nature, amid typical vegetation and authentic Camargue character.
