Overview

Facing the Pyrenean range and Montségur castle, in Aigues-Vives, Ariège, at 450 metres altitude, La Serre campsite spans 10.5 hectares of dry grassland and forest, favouring privacy and ecological authenticity. This 4-star campsite has 93 pitches (44 camping spaces, 49 rentals) and holds the LPO Refuge label (French Bird Protection League). A large heated pool with sun terrace and jacuzzi, a paddling pool, a supervised kids' club, sports pitches and a one-hectare playground round out the facilities, with a restaurant, grocery shop, laundrette and accessibility for people with reduced mobility. Lodge tents, a stilt cabin, wooden chalets and mobile homes make up the accommodation range. The estate is home to over 20 species of wild orchid and numerous butterflies, backed by solar panels and composting as part of its ecological approach.
