The campsite welcomes guests to fully comfortable accommodation (mobile homes, chalets, unusual tents, lodge cabins…) with an optimised energy footprint. Life at the campsite is organised around perfectly designed communal areas, meeting the latest environmental, hygiene and quality standards.
Management has chosen to favour the local economy at every level of its operations and for most of its services. The bar-restaurant menu features local specialities and a balanced menu based on seasonal fruit and vegetables.
Most of the products sold at the campsite’s minimarket come from the local area (cheeses, meat, wines…) and from organic farming. The teams (entertainment, maintenance, kitchen…) as well as the artisan baker are locals from the Auvergne who look after guests with great care.

Camping 4* Le Belvédère
Set near Neuvéglise-sur-Truyère, a typical small town in the Cantal, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, the campsite is perfectly suited to families. Groups of friends and couples without children will also find their own favourite spots and can get away by the river below.
The eco-responsible Camping Le Belvédère promises moments of tranquillity and togetherness based on shared values.
Reducing electricity consumption (timer systems, solar lamps…), optimised watering, waste sorting, a move towards 0 paper to fight deforestation… At their own level, the teams work daily to reduce tourism’s impact on the world.
Through simple actions, guests are invited to take part in the ecological model set up by the campsite (glass bins, recyclable waste and used batteries, water and electricity savings…). An experience close to nature, fulfilling and very enriching for all children.

What to do at Camping Le Belvédère
There are plenty of activities and entertainment on offer, always respectful of the natural environment in which the campsite is set.
The tree-lined avenues invite all generations to gather for a game of pétanque. For those who love to swim or would rather enjoy the sun, head to the Water Park.
Holidaymakers who wish to can take a bike along the stunning roads of the Cantal towards Saint-Flour, a town of art and history 18 km away.
All activities are offered by local enthusiasts in order to limit CO2 emissions. And for sightseeing, the focus is on discovering Auvergne heritage and the region, which has some wonderful surprises in store.
To enjoy nature, the Auvergne knows no limits. The great Sancy massif and Margeride, the Lanau dam or the Aubrac plateau promise memorable hikes.
