At the heart of the Grands Causses Regional Nature Park, in Compeyre, in the Aveyron, Les Cerisiers campsite borders the Tarn river along more than 300 metres of private beaches. This 2.5-hectare family campsite, planted with 300 trees of 50 different species, offers 88 shaded pitches as well as mobile homes, gîtes and a zen tipi. A member of the Via Natura network, it favours immersion in unspoilt nature and a small-scale atmosphere. A grocery shop, snack bar, weekly barbecue evenings and observation equipment (binoculars, telescope) accompany outings dedicated to spotting griffon vultures. Hiking and swimming in the Tarn round out a nature-focused stay, run by Manu and his team.
