Camping Pyrénées Natura

Taken over by Alex and Michèle, originally from the Netherlands and Belgium, Pyrénées Natura sits at 1,000 metres altitude in Estaing, five kilometres from Lac d’Estaing and beside a mountain stream, on the edge of the Pyrenees National Park. The new owners are developing ecological practices and an environmental conservation approach there. The inn-restaurant serves local produce, complemented by the Natura Spa (sauna, massages) and a dog shower. A direct access point to the stream allows swimming, while mountain trails begin right nearby. The accommodation offer combines comfort rentals (mobile homes), natural pitches for tents and caravans on large, shaded plots, and unusual options. Dogs are allowed on a leash but banned within the national park, in the Hautes-Pyrénées.
