At the crossroads of the Alps and Provence, in Sisteron, near the Durance and its famous gorge, Les Prés Hauts campsite belongs to the Sites & Paysages network and champions local and organic produce. Open from 1 April to 30 September, it has 143 pitches, including 111 bare pitches for tents and motorhomes and 32 rentals, among them 10 mobile homes with tasteful comfort and a shaded wooden terrace. A heated pool, playground, grocery shop, restaurant (the Snack bar de la Durance) and kids' club round out a firmly nature-focused atmosphere. The surroundings offer fine escapes: hiking, medieval heritage around the citadel, the Lure mountain and the Méouge gorge make for a varied playground between the Alps and Provence.
