Camping Sunêlia L’hippocampe

In Volonne, near Sisteron, at 430 metres altitude, Sunêlia L'Hippocampe spans 17 wooded, flower-filled hectares along the Durance, with views over the Provençal hills. This 5-star campsite, awarded the Clef Verte label since 2025, has 487 pitches, 288 of them rentals (luxury mobile homes, chalets, quirky bungalows), complemented by a new area in Château Arnoux with a 3,400 m² lagoon and 110 additional pitches in a calmer, more exclusive setting. A water park with heated pools and slides, a kids' club for ages 4 to 17 in high season, the Le Micocoulier restaurant-bar with Provençal flavours, a waterside Nature SPA, an equestrian centre and water sports shape the stay, with shows and entertainment in July and August. The site borders the Mercantour and Verdon parks, near Digne-les-Bains and Manosque.
